Back in August the author of Vigilant Citizen wrote up an article analyzing the use of symbols in Lady Gaga’s videos, photos, logo, name and overall aesthetic. I was skeptical (to say the least) at first, but after digging into the article many parallels were intelligently drawn between Lady Gaga and symbols used in traditional Freemasonary.
Specifically the repetition of Lady Gaga’s all-seeing eye motif, the placement of dual pillars as in a Masonic lodge (see above, notice square on throne), portrayal as a cyborg automaton, spiral-wheel mind control cues (particularly in the video for “Paparazzi” and on her fashion website, House of Gaga) and general spooky weirdness (see “The Brain” video).
“The hum of the city. I was scared at first, I thought. Pop ate my heart and then he swallowed my brain.”
“What’s left for you to live for?”
“But then I thought.”
“But then you thought.”
